About Us

We work alongside property managers and tenants of Summit Properties to build stable housing and thriving communities.

Creating caring communities rooted in dignity

Ascend Housing Allies exists to help tenants of Summit Properties overcome the barriers that threaten their housing stability. We believe every resident deserves a community that recognizes their strength and provides the support needed to thrive.

Meet our coordinators

Dedicated professionals committed to housing stability

Jennifer Wright

Supportive Services Coordinator

Jen comes from a clinical mental health background with experience focused on substance use and mood disorders. She is newer to the housing field but loves learning about the resources available to her clients. She cares deeply about their well-being and shows it in the way she supports them every day.

Jen is originally from Texas and moved to Vermont a few years ago with her dog Ellie. She is active in her community and speaks up in several advocacy spaces. On her days off you can usually find her on the road, exploring new places with Ellie riding along.

Heather Bush

Supportive Services Manager

Heather comes with a background in non-profit leadership with a passion for staff and program training and development.  She has worked extensively with those experiencing homelessness to secure housing and support services.  She has a passion for client-centered goals and supports people in working toward long term stability.

Heather is a native Vermonter with 2 active teenagers and is involved in the South Burlington School and Athletic Community.  When not cheering on her children, Heather spends her days enjoying hikes with the family’s new puppy and continuing to play slow pitch softball in local and state leagues.
